Welcome
As we mentioned in our last letter we were delighted to have won the Best Emporium in Kent Award organised by muddystilettos.com the urban guide to the countryside! As it was determined by the number of votes from the public we would like to extend our very grateful thanks to the many of you who voted for us! Sue attended the awards evening with Sarah at the Hush Heath Winery near Goudhurst, along with the other 29 Kent business winners. You can see all the other winners here.

The recent fairs and exhibitions have been very well received and certainly the political landscape does not seem to have dampened the public's desire for good quality antiques and works of art. For our many overseas clients we encourage you to take the opportunity to buy while our currency is so favourable to you. It may not last long! And we are very happy to organise any shipping queries for you. Now is the time to buy British and invest in a piece of our history at a time when Britain is making history!

With the summer season well and truly here, all of us at the gallery wish you happy summer holidays, whether you are heading to sunnier climes or braving the English seaside! Don't forget we are open six days a week and with so many great historic attractions within the area, a visit to the Garden of England makes for a very pleasurable day out!

However, we also need a holiday, and so the galleries will close for our annual leave from Monday 22nd August and will reopen on Tuesday 30th August, just after the Bank Holiday. Apologies in advance, but there will be no newsletter for August.

With our very best wishes,
Lennox, Sue and all at the galleries.
