Welcome to our February letter which we hope finds you well and looking forward to the year ahead.

We have been putting together our programme for 2015 and as you see we will once again be holding a Spring Open Weekend. As this is our 8th year as The Edenbridge Galleries, we do feel we have something worth celebrating, and so our dates for this event will be the weekend of 9th and 10th May. There will be more news on this weekend in future letters but please do make a note in your diaries. It always turns out to be an event not to be missed!

In the meantime our Tunbridge Ware specialist, Dianne Brick, has decided to host some information sessions throughout the year. The first one will take place on Saturday 25th April at 2pm. These sessions will be very useful to those new to Tunbridge Ware and to those wishing to extend their knowledge of the subject. The second session will take place on Saturday 13th June. Both take place at The Edenbridge Galleries and both sessions are free, but it is essential to reserve your place in advance as seating is limited. Please view Dianne's website for further information.

No doubt many of you have been engrossed in Wolf Hall, and so for our Object of the Month we have used a wonderful oak chest dating back to the times of Henry VIII. Shaw Edwards, our oak specialist has a wealth of knowledge on his subject and provides some exceptional pieces of early carvings and furniture on sale here at the galleries and his website.

As well as our events in the galleries, several of our specialists will be taking part in forthcoming antique fairs. Notably, the BADA Antiques & Fine Art Fair at the Duke of York Square, just off Kings Road, and the Chelsea Antiques Fair held at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, also along the Kings Road. The latter overlap's with the BADA Fair which makes a great opportunity to visit both in one day. Full information below in Date's for your Diary.

That seems to be all for now, but there will be many more events to interest you over the coming months.

With our very best wishes,
Lennox, Sue and all at the galleries.
