Having trouble reading this newsletter? Click here to view it in your browser.

We would like to start this newsletter by thanking everyone who attended our recent Christmas Open Weekend. We hope you enjoyed your visit and the talks which were so professionally presented by Leigh Extence and Bill Neal.

The galleries looked splendidly festive and the array of antiques and fine art as always was extremely impressive. You can view our photo albums on Facebook here.
The David Napp exhibition will be in situ until Christmas and there are still many stunningly colourful pictures to tempt you.

Please see our Christmas opening times at the end of this letter but just to remind you we will be open until 3pm on Christmas Eve so you still have time for some extra special present buying! And if you struggle to choose something, don't forget we do offer gift vouchers as a possible alternative.

We will keep this newsletter relatively short as no doubt, you are as busy as we are at this time of year, so once you have read the rest of this letter we would like to wish you all a
Very Happy Christmas and New Year and to thank you for your continuing support.

Our very best Christmas wishes,
Lennox, Sue and all at the galleries.

Featured Dealer's
Carrying on our series featuring our collective of specialists, this month we focus on Mehdi Sharafi of Sharafi & Co., our resident rug specialist. Mehdi began to learn his trade and refine his broad knowledge of antique Oriental Rugs three decades ago working for one of the biggest wholesalers of handwoven carpets. In 1990 he set up his own business and from the outset was supplying goods to clients ranging from the world's leading stores such as Liberty and The Conran Shop, as well as interior designers and specialist collectors.

Mehdi continues to offer rare and exceptional rugs to his discerning clients. Testaments to this are his distinctive antique pieces that have graced ambassadorial residences, classic Persian designed rugs that have been used as the backdrop of magazine shoots and the London Fashion Week and even his modern designer handmade bespoke rugs that have been featured in interior publications such as the Conran or Wallpaper magazine. Mehdi also provides a repair, restoration and conservation service which is recommended by the National Trust to all their homes. You can view his stock on our website
