A extremely rare early 19th century rectangular Chinese - Export black and gilt lacquered bamboo edged tray on a later modern metal stand in simulated bamboo, cluster columns legs. The fixed tray has a central scene depicting numerous guards and attendants aboard a junk at sea. This type of Chinese designed furniture one would expect to see in The Royal Pavilion in Brighton Sussex.
