Garret and Hurst is a family-run company that has specialised in 19th century sculpture since 1992. The company was founded by Margaret Cowley and Wendy Grellman who decided to concentrate exclusively on their first love - sculpture - after some years of trading as general antique dealers. In 2003 Margaret's son, Peter, joined the business and to help with the expanding workload his partner, Keiko, also joined in 2007.

We pride ourselves on reflecting the art of 19th sculpture in our acquisition of signed figurative and animalier pieces of the highest quality by the master sculptors who exhibited at the Paris Salons.

We are based in Sussex and exhibit at major Fine Art and Antiques fairs throughout the UK, including the LAPADA and London Olympia fairs.

Margaret is also on the board of directors of LAPADA.
