Other Details
Description / Expertise
Isidore Bonheur was a talented draughtsman and modeller. He was particularly adept at capturing the movement and grace of the animal world, as shown by his small bronzes of sheep, cattle and horses.
Bronzes cast by his brother- in- law in the Peyrol foundry are known for the excellence of their casting, chiselling and patinating.
This bull is a rare Bonheur model and displays considerable strength and dymamism. Foundry: Peyrol
