A pair of related paintings. One is slightly smaller than the other so they should be hung one above the other with the smaller one on top. A highly unusual and quite magical pair of pictures of exceptional quality. Please note that the price of £9,000 is for the pair of pictures.

Exhibition History:

Arthur George Ventnor was a reclusive artist born in Norwich. He exhibited eight paintings at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions between 1896 and 1926. Titles there include " A. Quaint Corner" and "A Crust of Bread". In 1907 he was recorded as living at St. Clement's Mansions, Lillie Road, West London.
